The children made play dough. They measured out the ingredients then mixed them all together. The children then carried on weighing the play dough to see what is heavier and lighter. Some children made ‘tacos’ and ‘cakes’ some made ‘monsters’ and ‘dinosaurs’
This morning the children made flap jacks to have for pudding. The children wanted to carry on baking this afternoon so we followed the children’s interest and made our own pizza’s to have for tea! The children took it in turns to roll out the base, they used their fine motor skills to spread tomato puree on top of the base. They sprinkled cheese on top then cut up peppers and ham for the topping. We then enjoyed the pizza’s and flap jacks at tea time and it was yummy!
We have had great fun taking part in a wide range of activities this week from making play dough, cooking, experimenting with ice, exploring gloop, mixing and measuring, gluing and sticking and lots more!
